Did the moderators recently change the security settings of Shipfriends? I can no longer view it through Google Translate. I get stuck on some page saying I need to verify that I am a human, but can't proceed any further from there.

While we did not change anything that could be related to this bug, I also tried using my Google Translate for a few topics, and it worked without any issues.

It may be overuse of the service from your IP or even your browser.

If it helps, I'd recommend trying with another browser and let us know or use a similar (much better service, in my opinion) called Deepl

Kalimera,

I'm looking on information on Lord of the Glens yacht from Magna Carta Steamship, prio his conversion into yacht/cruise style.

I know that the hull was built in 1985 in Greece, at Psarros shipyard, and that she was built under the name Victoria. Do you know who ordered her ? Wiche ship owner order this ship ? It was a day ferry originaly ?

Thank you !

Bon apres-midi cher JC,

Indeed built as the Victoria, renamed Victoria II in 1999 and then assumed her current name in the year 2000. As far as I can see she was ordered by Magna Carta Steamship and her technical management has changed from Anglo-Eastern to V Ships UK. At least this is what my sources show.

To me it does not appear she has ever served as a day ferry, at least I don't remember that.
