Hi, this is the Georgios S, when you took a photo of hers. She later became the Naftilos, IMO 6619762. As you rightly said she is the Sietas 577 built as the Wega in 1966.

GEMINI is registered in La Paz. On another note, are you absolutely sure about the name of that one?
Humbersmith Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 Apologies. I believe she is the FRINI (IMO 5209417).
Nick the Greek Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 Cool, cause under the name Gemini I could not find anything remotely matching your photograph. Keep them coming though, happy to help with identification projects
Nicksy58 Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Could it be this one? Petros H https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/58216?navList=gallery&imo=5209417&page=1&viewType=normal&sortBy=newest
Humbersmith Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 Good morning........the cement carrier KLEVSTRAND (IMO 7034969) arrived at Rethymnon on 25th November last year. I have seen one source quoting her as MYRA II but have yet to find any confirmation of this in official registers or on AIS. Any information appreciated.
Nick the Greek Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 I still see her as the Klevstrand in the registries, at the same time her AIS has been switched off. It could be that she is purchased by local Greek interests, not activated yet and the any change in name and ownership status not been made public yet. She does not appear in the current detentions list either, nor any other ship appears to be detained in Rethymnon for that matter.
Humbersmith Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 Thanks for checking. No doubt her fate will be revealed in due course
TomJ Posted February 26, 2024 Posted February 26, 2024 Is the Agios Georgios ( ex Olympus) going to be working this year?
proud_ionian Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 She'll be back in action next Monday. On 2/23/2024 at 3:18 PM, Nick the Greek said: Την Δευτέρα 4η Μαρτίου επανέρχεται στην ενεργό δράση ο Άγιος Γεώργιος ο Φορτηγοφόρος, τα δρομολόγια του Μαρτίου σύμφωνα με τον παρακάτω πίνακα:
JonB72 Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 Do we know the outcome of the shipping ministry's decisions on who gets to operate what ferry route this summer?
Humbersmith Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 Good morning. I note that PROTUG 18 is approaching Aliaga with a tow from Agios Nikolaos, Kriti. Could it be the DOLGORUKI?

TomJ Posted March 23, 2024 Posted March 23, 2024 Is there any news about the fate of Prevelis and Aqua Blue? Many thanks.
Humbersmith Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 PROTUG 18 is currently en route to Aliaga with a tow from Carloforte. Any information on the towed vessel would be welcome
Nicksy58 Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 No idea. But it's not the MOBY Vincent, that one arrived yesterday evening at Aliaga.
