Nick the Greek Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 Yes indeed, she will be pairing with the Blue Star 2 and she's already shifted to Piraeus main port.
hhvferry Posted June 8, 2021 Posted June 8, 2021 I'm sure this will be covered somewhere on Shipfriends but I haven't seen it. On Salamina on the road from the church on the hill towards the bay which was the location of the ancient battle is this structure which looks to be the remains of an old ship. Does anyone know what it once was and why it has been left here?
polmyt Posted June 8, 2021 Posted June 8, 2021 This belonged to the old LCT ferry SOFRAS . More details here

TomJ Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 I see the Al Salmy 4 ex Express Santorini has been renamed Aqua Mystic does this mean she could be on her way back to Greek waters to continue working or is it just a name change to deliver her to the breakers?
Shippihs Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 She will return to Greece for seajets. The region she will serve is still unknown

As far as I know she has been renamed Aqua Myth. The Greek crew that will take her over has already flown to Dubai and soon the ship will set sail for Greece.
TomJ Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 (edited) That’s right Aqua Myth, not mystic my fault. Edited July 3, 2021 by proud_ionian quote
Nick the Greek Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 What we know is that a crew has been sent there and she's getting ready to sail. Now for a ship that has been idle for such a long period of time, I think readiness is a relative term and can be time consuming. She will be back though.
TomJ Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 Any news on the damage to Aqua Blues engine(s)? Is the rumour correct that Seajets have bought the Azores Express and renamed her Aqua Star?
Nick the Greek Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 It's not a rumour about the Azores Express, pretty much done and dusted. As for the Aqua Blue, no news as yet.
Nicksy58 Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 The sale of the Azores Express (new name Aqua Star) to Seajets has been confirmed.
Nick the Greek Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Looks as if she's done for the summer season.
TomJ Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 (edited) Thanks Nick, damage must be bad then. Edited July 30, 2021 by TomJ
Nick the Greek Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 She's being worked upon intensively in order to take over from the Aqua Blue. Remains to be seen if/when they manage to bring her back in action.
Billy Johnson Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 (edited) Hi all Does anyone have any information on where the Champion Jet 1 is heading to? It left Alonnisos earlier on its planned itinerary and seem to be not heading to Mantoudi Edited August 7, 2021 by Billy Johnson
Shippihs Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Due to the fires ranging in the area Mantoudi was changed to Kymi
Billy Johnson Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Hi I see Paros Jet doing an unusual itinerary from Agios Nikolaos to Thira not seen that before any reason for it? Is it a regular route from now?
