Το shippax βάλθηκε να μας τρελάνει με τον αινιγματικό τίτλο που όμως αφορά την ναύλωση των Superfast VII και VIII από την Tallink στη Stena για 3 χρόνια.

Κατι τετοιο περιμενα και γω οτι θα ειναι αλλα με προλαβες στο ψαξιμο αφου τα αγγλικα σου ειναι καλυτερα απο τα δικα μου

Για τα 6 και 11 ειχα ακουσει αλλα σχεδια εντος Ελλαδας

στο Ferries of Northern Europe εχουν παρει φωτια για το θεμα. Μιλουν για τριετη ναυλωση και εκτεταμενες μετασκευες. για την ακριβεια ξηλωμα καμπινων και διαμορφωση κοινοχρηστων χωρων. σχολιαζουν το γεγονος οτι με τη διαμορφωση που εχουν ειναι καταλληλα μονο για night ferries και οχι για συντομα ημερησια δρομολογια.

η stena τα προοριζει για τη γραμμη σκωτιας - βορειας ιρλανδιας και θα ξεκινουν απο το νεο terminal της stena το Loch Ryan Port στο Cairnryan και απεναντι θα πιανουν στο Belfast.

θα παραδοθουν μεσα αυγουστου και θα δρομολογηθουν στα τελη του 2011. απο τα συμφραζομενα μαλλον πρεπει να υπαρχει και option αγορας.

η ανακοινωση της tallink που εβαλε ο νηρεας, αποδιδει τη ναυλωση στο οτι εμπαιναν μεσα.

και εδω η ανακοινωση για λογαριασμο της Stena πο καποιο γραφειο τυπου, που διατυμπανιζει το γεγονος (παλι απο το ferries of northern europe)

STENA LINE THINKS BIG WITH NEW SHIPS

FOR ITS SCOTLAND-NORTHERN IRELAND SERVICE

Ferry company brings in two of the biggest ships ever to work the Scotland-N. Ireland route

Leading ferry company Stena Line today confirmed the addition of two new Superfast ferries on its service between Scotland and Northern Ireland in Autumn 2011 to coincide with the opening of its new £80m Loch Ryan Port at Cairnryan.

Sister ships Superfast VII and Superfast VIII will replace the HSS Stena Voyager, Stena Caledonia and Stena Navigator, which currently operate between the two countries.

The Superfast vessels, the biggest ships ever to operate on the Scotland-Northern Ireland route, will cater for both passenger and freight traffic. For freight customers, the ships will be altered to allow for extra deck height to accommodate the trend for higher, more efficient freight units.

Each ship can carry up to 1,200 passengers, around 660 cars or 110 freight vehicles and will be able to complete the journey between Scotland and the heart of Belfast in 2 hours, 15 minutes. They each have a gross tonnage of 30,285 and are capable of travelling at 27 knots. The ships will be leased from Tallink, the Baltic Sea shipping group.

The introduction of the new ships to the route later this year will coincide with the opening of Stena Line's purpose built £80M port facility at Loch Ryan Port, Cairnryan in Scotland, which will replace its current base at Stranraer.

Gunnar Blomdahl, Managing Director of Stena Line said: "This investment is another stage in Stena Line's ongoing multi million pound investment program which aims to take the Stena Line fleet to the next level. I'm convinced that the changes on this route will be very positive for our customers between Scotland and Northern Ireland."

Before the ships are deployed on the route both vessels will be given extensive refits to ensure that they deliver a great experience with new attractive onboard concepts for restaurants and public areas and as well as providing complete flexibility for freight operators. The upgrades will include the provision of extra deck height to cater for the trend towards higher vehicles and hauliers' increased use of double –deck freight units.

Frank Nieuwenhuys, Freight Commercial Manager, Stena Line UK and Ireland said:

Αν και το photoshop τους απετυχε λιγακι.. πιστευω οτι με το πραγματικο τελικο αποτελεσμα με τα σινιαλα της stena θα ειναι αρκετα ομορφα..

Για το ακομα δικο μας superfast 6 που ακουγοταν πολυ εντονα οτι θα το αγορασει η britany για να δουμε τι θα γινει..

Τα 2 κοκκινα θα πανε συντομα στο Gdansk για να κανουν την μετασκευη που λεει ο proud παραπανω

The recently chartered Superfast VII and Superfast VIII will head to Gdansk, Poland in order to be adpated to Irish Sea service requirements.According to Remontowa Gdansk:

"This will include stripping all passenger cabins off decks 7th and 8th. They will be replaced by common passenger spaces with restaurants, bars and entertainment functions. Also car decks will be modified and all necessary changes or upgrades to general ship's systems will be performed. In result, the pair will be converted from overnight ferries (with 678 beds) to day ferries to operate an intensive 2 hours 15 minutes crossing."

βγηκε και το virtual tour των πλοιων

Σιγουρα θα γινουν πολυ ομορφα μεσα αλλα νομιζω πως ηδη ηταν προικισμενα τα συγκεκριμενα κοκκινα.Αν καταλαβα καλα απο το βιντεο,αποφασισαν να τους δωσουν περισσοτερο χρωμα στο εσωτερικο.

Τελικα πεφτει αρκετο ξηλωμα μεσα.

Μπα εμενα δεν μου αρεσουν καθολου με αυτα τα σινιαλα ,ειδικα η τσιμινιερα ειναι τσιρκο Πλωρα πρεπει να εφτιαξαν τιποτα σουιτες καθως φαινονται 2 ζευγη απο ημικυκλικα παραθυρα εκει που ειναι οι καμπινες.

του ο υπευθυνος της γραμμης, αναφερει οτι γινονται και παρεμβασεις στα λιμανια που θα πιανουν τα πλοια

Στο Cairnryan της Σκωτίας εγκαινιάζεται καινούριο λιμάνι με τα δύο νέα πλοία, δίπλα από το Stranraer που πιάνει ως τώρα η Stena. Στο Belfast προέβη σε μετατροπές του ήδη υπάρχοντος terminal της εταιρείας (που παραδόθηκε το 2008 και κόστισε 37 εκατομμύρια λίρες). Αρκετοί σχολιάζουν ως περιττό για τέτοιας διάρκειας ταξίδι το nordic spa των αδερφων πλοίων. Η πιό πρόσφατη παρουσίασή τους απεικονίζει τα δίδυμα του Harwich σε photoshop (αντί του αδερφού τους SF Moliere που είχαν ως τώρα).

Τι ωραιο βιντεο ειναι πολυ σημαντικο που η ιδια η εταιρια παρουσιαζει την προετοιμασια/μετασκευη των νεων της πλοιων,στους πελατες της - οι δικοι μας εδω ειναι πολυ πισω ακομα

Στα τελευταια πλανα φαινεται οτι εχουν ανοιξει μεγαλυτερα παραθυρα στον καθρεφτη,ακριβως στο ντεκ που λεμε παραπανω για τις σουιτες η τα καινουργια σαλονια.

Κανονικές καμπίνες προς πώληση δεν διατίθενται. Στo σύστημα της Stena υπάρχουν οι options για Economy, Flexi και Premium εισιτήρια επιβατών. Μήπως είναι lounge του premium.

Το πρωτο καρναβαλι τελειωσε και πηρε τον δρομο για την καινουργια του γραμμη.Δεν λεω,καλο το εκαναν μεσα αλλα τo ΔΗΛΟΣ δεν θα το φτασει κανεις

H Tallink ανακοίνωσε πως η ναύλωση ανανεώνεται μέχρι το Φθινόπωρο του 2019.
